The Fireside Lodge is centrally located within walking distance from the shops, restaurants, and theaters of Big Bear village as well as the two major marinas on Big Bear Lake. Big Bear Ski Resorts are only minutes away.
The Fireside Lodge opened its doors December, 1946. It originally had eight one and two bedroom brick cottages with weeping mortar. Over the years, it had other units added. In 1992, it was completely rebuilt after the earthquake in Big Bear.
It now has grown to 32 units. Motel rooms, one and two bedroom suites, and spa suites replaced the original architecture.
