The small town of Breezewood is located in southern Pennsylvania, at the intersection of highway 30, the I-70 and I-76, about 25 miles north of the Maryland state-line.
Breezewood is often called 'The Gateway to the South' and 'The Town of Motels', after its convenient location and easy access to the Pennsylvania Turnpike, the I-70 and highway 30. It is a travelers hub on the way to or from Washington D.C, Baltimore, Pittsburgh, Harrisburg, and other major cities.
Most hotels and motels in Breezewood are located around the entrance to the Pennsylvania Turnpike and the I-70. Additional lodging options and visitor services can be found along highway 30, which serves as the town's main street and is known locally as 'the strip'.
