The city of Bretton Woods is located in northern New Hampshire in the midst of the White Mountains National Forest.
The city is home to Bretton Woods Ski Resort, the largest ski area in New Hampshire. Bretton Woods Ski Resort offers 434 acres of skiing and snowboarding terrain, 101 trails, 9 Lifts, a vertical drop of 1500-feet and more than 100 kilometers of Nordic ski trails.
Other attractions in the area include the Crawford Notch State Park, Mount Washington Cog Railway and the White Mountain Trail.
Mount Washington Hotel Resort and Lodge, a National Historic Landmark, is the main accommodation complex of the area. Other hotels and motels in Bretton Woods provide easy access to the White Mountains and the Bretton Woods Ski Resort.
