The oldest building in Kendall Square, the Kendall Hotel incorporates a renovated Victorian-era firehouse and new seven-story tower in the heart of technology-centered Cambridge, across the street from MIT and less than two miles from Harvard University.
This one-of-a-kind boutique hotel charms visitors with firehouse memorabilia, unique framed artwork, and antique-style furnishings throughout the hotel; handmade quilts with traditional early-American patterns complete the setting.
The fireplace provides a cozy spot to curl up with a good book and a drink, and more substantial fare is offered in the cafe, with fresh New England specials homemade daily.
The Kendall Hotel features 65 spacious guest rooms with one king or two queen beds; rooms can accommodate a maximum of four guests. Some of the rooms in the old firehouse offer only one queen bed.
Rooms are furnished with one-of-a-kind antiques and reproductions, and feature handmade quilts from the American Quilt Collection with 100% cotton sheets. A large work area with high-speed Internet access is available in each room. All rooms are non-smoking for guest comfort.
