At the height of the Cold War, as President Eisenhower convalesced at his Gettysburg home, the Best Western Gettysburg Hotel served as the president's national operations center.
Today, the new Best Western Gettysburg Hotel, reconstructed in cooperation with the Historic Architectural Review Board, preserves the historic character of this significant landmark in the nation's history.
