The city of Lakeview is located east of Klamath Falls, at the junction of highway 140 and highway 395, within the Fremont National Forest.
At the foot of the Warner mountains, on the edge of the southeast Oregon High Desert and at an elevation of 4,800 feet above sea level, Lakeview is the highest town in Oregon.
Among the main attractions in Lakeview are the 'Ole Perpetual', a hot water geyser that erupts sixty feet into the air every ninety seconds, and the Warner Mountain Ski Area, which is located 10 miles Northeast of the city.
All hotels and motels in the city are located within two miles of the city center.
