The town of Lincoln, NH is situated in the White Mountains region, along the I-93 and highway 112, which is also known as the Scenic Kancamagus Highway. It is about 100 miles northwest of Portsmouth, NH and about 130 miles north of downtown Boston, MA.
The main attraction in the area is Loon Mountain Ski Area, located just 3 miles northeast of downtown Lincoln. Loon Mt. Ski Area offers 45 skiing and riding trails, 10 lifts and a vertical drop of 2100 feet. Other activities on the mountain include tubing, snowshoeing, cross-country skiing and ice-skating.
