Thornton Hall Hotel and Country Club was originally a 19th century mansion. The elegant building has been stylishly extended but still retains some striking original features such as oak carvings and ornate ceilings.
The hotel guest rooms are mainly situated in the new wing and have a modern, contemporary feel with facilities such as trouser press and satellite TV.
The restaurant prides itself on serving the best of English food and has received a host of awards for fine dining. Thornton Hall has six meeting rooms accommodating up to 240 delegates.
