The city of Logan, located about an hour and a half north of Salt Lake City, is the main cultural and business hub for the Cache Valley agricultural area.
With a population of over 40,000 people and as home to the main campus of Utah State University, Logan is a thriving modern city. It has a modern downtown area with two notable 19th century buildings, the Logan Mormon Tabernacle and the Logan Temple.
Other notable points of interest in and around Logan include the Willow Park Zoo located just south of downtown and Bear Lake State Park on the shores of Bear Lake, 40 minutes northeast of town.
All hotels and motels in Logan are located within 5 miles of downtown and the university campus and offer easy access to area attractions.
