The Sheraton Molokai Lodge and Beach Village is an upscale resort located on 54,000 acres that were originally owned by the chief Kapuaiwa, who later became King Kamehameha V and the Molokai Ranch.
The Sheraton Molokai offers two types of accommodations: the Beach Village sits right on the beach, and the Lodge is 8 miles inland. Shuttle service runs all day between the Lodge, the Beach Village, and the various activity sites on the huge ranch.
The 40 solar-powered canvas-sided bungalow units mounted on small platforms feature two bedrooms and hammocks, ceiling fans, refrigerators, outdoor picnic areas, and bathrooms with separate showers.
Each of the 22 lodge rooms includes a large lanai, living room, and bathroom with separate shower and soaking tub. Lodge rooms also have wet bars, refrigerators, robes and slippers, and direct-dial phones with high-speed Internet access.
The Lodge has a heated outdoor pool, a fitness center, and a spa with a massage and therapy room. The Beach Village is located on a golden-sand beach and also has a lawn with horseshoes and croquet. All guests at either lodging location have access to a wealth of recreational activities, such as snorkeling, horseback riding, mountain biking, archery, fishing and kayaking.
