Prince Albert, the third largest city in Saskatchewan, is located on the banks of the North Saskatchewan River, about 90 miles northeast of Saskatoon.
The town's main attractions include Northern Lights Casino, the South Hill Mall and the Historical Museum.
The town of Prince Albert is a popular 'base camp' for visitors on their way to Prince Albert national park two hours north of town. The park, dedicated to protecting the natural 'boreal' forest is home to white pelicans, Grey Owls and plains bison herds and is open for visitors year-round.
All hotels and motels in Prince Albert are located off of Highway 2, the town's main transportation artery and within 5 miles of the airport.
