The Best Western Mosborough Hall Hotel is situated on the Yorkshire-Derbyshire border yet only six miles from Sheffield City Center, dates back in parts to the 12th century and the main building to the 15th century.
Full of history, Henry VIII's son was born there in 1524 to Mary Boleyn, the building commands an imposing view over the surrounding countryside. The present owner purchased the building in 1972 and after two-and-a-half years of careful restoration opened it as a hotel and restaurant in May 1974.
The guest rooms at the Best Western Mosborough Hall Hotel vary in size and decor, some have four-poster bed and although all are en-suite, the character of the rooms in the main building has been retained.
The head chef has deservedly been awarded AA Rosettes for the last three years in recognition of the quality and variety of his food and the table d'hote three-course menu, changed daily. The Stables doubles as a conference venue for up to 90 delegates or private banqueting suite being complete with its own bar, kitchens and dance floor, BBQ's are held there frequently during the summer months.
The Best Western Mosborough Hall Hotel is well placed for business or leisure, Meadowhall, the Arena, Chatsworth House, Sherwood Forest, Doncaster Racecourse and numerous other attractions are within 30 minutes drive whilst Sheffield Airport is only six miles away.
