Steamboat Springs, located high in the Rocky Mountains in northwest Colorado, is the first area in Colorado downhill ski trails where developed.
Nicknamed 'Ski Town USA', Steamboat Springs is a favorite training ground of the U.S. Olympic ski team, as it is relatively uncrowned. But Steamboat Springs offers more than professional runs, it has downhill skiing, cross-country skiing, snowboarding, snowmobiling, sledding, sleigh rides, dog sledding, and ice skating venues that fit every level.
During the summer, Steamboat Springs is transformed into an outdoor heaven with tennis, golf, mountain biking, hiking, horseback riding, backpacking and fishing opportunities.
The Condo Resorts and Hotels in Steamboat Springs are located in two clusters – Steamboat Mountain Village and the town of Steamboat Springs itself.
Mountain Village hotels, most centered on Steamboat Ski Time Square, offer Ski-In Ski-Out access and are within walking distance of the upscale clubs and restaurants located in the village. Hotels in Steamboat Springs are more affordable and are close to the many restaurants and nightclubs located in town. A bus service and hotel shuttles connect the town to the ski area.
