The city of Sundance is located in northeast Wyoming, along the I-90 and the eastern slopes of the Rocky Mountain range. It's about 60 miles east of Gillette and 20 miles southwest of the Wyoming state line.
Situated at an elevation of 4,750 feet, in the heart of the Wyoming Black Hills, the area provide with an array of outdoors activities. Winter activities include cross-country skiing in Bearlodge Mountains in the Black Hills National Forest while summer activities include hiking, biking and swimming in the water of the Keyhole Reservoir.
