Three Tennessee towns, Sevierville, Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg, are located along the road that winds up toward the northern edge of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park.
Great Smoky Mountains National Park is the most visited national park in the country, attracting more than 9 million visitors each year. Sevierville, Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg are the ideal location for a 'base camp'.
